Where to stay at Turkey Bay

I was there a few weeks ago but was camping. I do not remember any hotel close but there were some Resorts real close. I would give the vistors center a call and ask them. Here is a link to there web site. www2.lbl.org/lbl/VisitorCenterGate.html
Have fun and if you have one bring a GPS. It may only be 2,500 acres but man there are trails everywhere. It is very easy to get turned around. Make sure you take a map that helps some but they only mark a few locations on the main trails.
Oh make sure you go to the Bison and Elk range just on the other side of route 68. I went about 5:00 pm and just drove around the road till all the Bison started coming out of the woods. Only cost like $3.00 per car.

The Little town of Aurora is just across Ky Lake in fact you can see the town and cabins from some places while you ride. They have several places to stay. If you want to drive another 15 minutes, you can go to Murray , They have a Holiday Inn and all that stuff. We usually stay in Murray when we go on our annual Thanksgiving trip.
