If you're talking about the Keweenaw Peninsula, I'd recommend Hancock/Calumet and possibly stay at the Best Western(?) in Baraga about 1/2 hour away on 41. Pool,jacuzzi,small bar and restuarant all overlooking Keweenaw Bay. Best gas prices in the area up the road on the indian reservation on the way to Houghton.
