Im looking at going ridding this weekend. I know that I can get on the gandy dancer and go north. But are there any trails that I can get to other then the gandy dancer. I was at the gas station on the corner and alot of atv's where riding in the ditches leaving the gas station. I rode in the ditch for a while but i never found any trails. I know that there are lots of trails in Burnett Co. If anyone knows anything about the trails please help me.
Thanks

What day are you going up there, i might go up on Sunday, if you see a blue raptor with a rider with a broken visor on the helmet it is probably me, i am going up to the hole in the wall casino , turn left right there and park in the little dirt parking area, i have only been up there once, i went north and that is pretty boring, i am also wondering where else to ride,
are you going to be with a group?

If you go north on the Gandy from Danbury about 3 miles there is a trail head into the Snake River State Forest. It will be on your left and the trails are marked fairly well.

I was up riding in Danbury last weekend for the first time. It was o.k. but you will want to be sure that your air filter is clean and well oiled at the start of the trip and you may want to bring a dust mask, It is very dry on all of the trails we went on. Sorry I don't really know much about the trails so can't really help you with that, just thought I would tell you about all of the dust.

Stitch Zr2, Swen, ScramDaddy, plus others. I'm going up to Danbury but won't be up there until the Saturday afternoon sometime. If you go up the Gandy Dancer about 3-4 miles you'll see the turn off left to go into the St Croix Forest. Go way farther and you'll get into the Nemadji Forest by turning left off the Gandy on to Yellow Birtch trail. I was more intrested in riding some of the proposed trails being set up by the MN DNR, so want to do some good riding. I'm not real fast or slow on the trail, just halfas. No idea what to do about spending the night? I have seen some pull trailers into the dirt parking lot beside the Gandy Dancer??? Don't know if there are any Mom and Pop hotels in the Danbury. It's going to be dry and hot this weekend so I was just going to rough-it with a sleeping bag in the back of my truck or camp out on some of the trails with a few items, making it back to Danbury for a good breakfast, then ride some more on Sunday. I'm trying to hook up with Oneidgoof from St Louis Park and some others from Redwing and Hastings but because of such a late start on Saturday for me, it will be hard ride with them unless the come back to Danbury that night and hookup on Sunday.

I have a small Red Nissan truck with a "Tread Bed" trailer, carring a Green Traxter. My name is Dave in the real world, Fishbones here and TwoTracks on ATV-TIME. e-mail is dctbmj@qwest.net

Gents (and ladies),

The Mud Divers will be in Danbury on Sat, July 14th, right at the start of the Gandy at 8:30 am.
We'll be the only group with a red 3 Wheeler with a HUGE tub on the back. Can't miss us.

See you when we get there. Oneidgoof, I'll see you tomorrow at 6:45 am.
Grab your cappacino. You're gonna need it.

Sorry it took so long it get back. My mom and dad made me goto this family golf shing-ding. Im leaving tonight in about 15mins. I will be ridding up in Danbury on Sunday. I will be at the parking lot by the Gandy Dancer at 8:30am. I drive a black 4x4 S-10 ZR2 model. I also will have my ATV in the back of it which is a green 500cc AC. I also wear a yellow helmet so its easy to see me. My name is Tom in the real world. If anyone wants to be there at 8:30 thats great, becasue my ridding buddies are not able to go. So I will be ridding alone. Any one is welcome to ride with me. The more people the more fun there is.
Thanks

WOOO! Had a blast at Danbury/Nemadji this weekend guys.
Except for the two flats that the group had it was the most fun riding yet.

Sunday was fun too. Smaller group Sunday but still a blast.
Thanks Fishbones and StitchZR2 for the ride.

Oh, and Fishbones, watch out for those culverts. hehe. Can you call that a flat?
