Houston trails..... Galveston?????

Im looking for anywhere to ride thats within 100 miles from Houston. I'm tired of riding the same ol trails in the National Forest, San Jacinto River Bottom, and Spring Creek. I'll go anywhere to ride that wont take a whole day to get there. Thanks!
Oh yea, does anyone know if you can ride on the lil' dunes in Galveston? If so, what beach can I go to??? Thanks!
