Just wondering how much some of you people ride...

I was just thinking about the places I had been this year..

1 Trip to Silver Lake Michigan, 5 days total, 400 miles each way

2 Trips to Hatfield-McCoy West Virginia, 3 days each, 260 miles each way

10 Trips (I think it was 10) to WNF Athens, 3 to 4 days each, 125 miles each way

1 Trip to WNF Ironton, 3 days, 128 miles each way

2 Trips to Big Rock ATV Park, Mayseville Ky, 1 day each, 80 miles each way

1 Trip To Haspin Acres, Luarel IN. 1 day, 60 miles each way

I figure I put on over 4500 miles on the truck driving to and from places to ride, and put well over 1500 miles on the quad, in less than 8 months. Not a bad summer if you ask me..

Next year we're planning on 12 day trip out west.. little Sahara Desert, the Cinders (near flaggstaff) and of course Glamis

Is anyone else addicted?

Brad

I think you have me beat. Here are my trips:

5 trips to WNF Athens area - 200 miles each way.

1 trip to Silver Lake - Approx. 200 miles each way.

1 trip to Drummond Island, Michigan (not exactly an atv paradise, but gave me something to due for the week as we were already going up there)- Mileage not known.

Several trips to the Maumee State forest - Approximately 6 miles each way. I would make more trips, but this place really is pathetic.

I will probably mix up the Wayne trips next year with some Michigan trips. It depends on the trail conditions at Wayne and how they hold up. I will definetly be planning a Silver Lake trips again. Great place to ride!

Ummm, you have us beat too Brad.
We've just split our weekends up between WNF and Perry forest this year, mostly WNF though. We try to ride just about every weekend, every other at the least, depending on what shift Rob is on. (he works a lot of Saturdays)
Next year, we'd like to hit the Badlands and Silver Lake. We'll get to HM soon too.

Uhm:
10-14 trips to Monday Creek (MC or Dorr Run), about 150 miles round-trip.
1 trip to Pine Creek (Telegraph Trailhead), about 250 miles round trip
1 trip to Hanging Rock (near ironton), about 300 miles round trip
3 trips to Hatfield McCoy, about 700 miles round trip
1 trip to ride in PA, about 500+ miles round trip
1 trip to Florida to ride, about 1800 miles roundtrip (only to not ride,as it looked to boring-flat, with no hills, mud, etc). But hey, we went there!
3 trips earlier this year to Haspin Acres, 300 miles round trip
2 trips to Big Rock, 300 miles round trip

and the year ain't done yet! (yeah, I got it bad!)

Next year, a 2-week trip to Arizona....

One major trip early this spring:

1st stop: Little Sahara/Sand Mountain, Utah
2nd: Sand Mountain, Nevada
3rd: Samoa Point, California
4th: Spinreel State Park, Oregon
5th: St. Anthony Dunes, Idaho

I don't know if it was the timing, weather, or what, but Little Sahara UT is hands down the most awesome riding spot I have ever been to. We are planning on visiting there again this coming spring. Oregon coast riding is very awsome too, but the weather was horrible when we were there. Unfortunately, I hear it is often yukky. I am hesitant to plan a trip there again because the odds of getting poor weather are so high.

Other than that, this year, I just ride around within 50 miles of my house.
