Wife and I will be going to Montana for a week and am looking for guys that may be familiar with the area. It is a fishing camp called Cotton Wood Camp and I belive it is on the Crow Reservation. It is in the boondocks around Fort Smith and the Big Horn Lake. Wifes girlfriend and husband own the camp and we have a free cabin. They say there are hundreds of miles to ride, but they aren't ATVers and thought I would check to see if anyone new that for sure. Thanks.

Will you please keep me in the loop of any information you receive on this topic from other sources? We are also looking to take our ATV's to Montana this summer. Like you I am finding little information on Montana trails due to lack of riders?

Anyway, it seems like the ultimate riding spot if information can be gathered on where to go.

One thing I have heard that a lot of the riding is on reservations and you have to purchase what they call a trespass pass. I not real sure but I think they are $30. People we are spending time there with say you can just head out were ever you want, deer trails or what ever.

 

well guys i live in montana so i suppose i could help ya out, not many people really do ride on reservations, well i never have at least, if you goto billings they have an atv club but i believe its more exclussive and you have to join to ride on it, i havent drove my 400ex for the past 7 months or gone anywhere so i cant really tell ya any new places to ride
