Shaggy,
not that I'm aware of. This is only something that is specific to the county. Others may have similar practices in place so it would be a good idea to check with the regional offices before riding. If anyone has any suggestions, let me know.

Black River Falls? You have a desire to be bored to death? The township roads around here are more of a challenge and have less signs. ATV Keep Right, ATV Stay on Trail, ATV no power turns, ATV stay off payment, ATV stay on pavement, ATV...ATV...ATV... No parking, no loitering, no talking, stay between the lines..long hair hippy types need not apply...

Talked to a guy last night that said you won't even recognize the sinkhole after what has been done there. They went in and filled it with rock to give it a solid bottom. A maximum water depth around 2 feet I guess. I have not been there yet to see it but apparently they have been busy there.

<< Bad news Red Top riders. I received a call from the DNR yesterday and they did say that the Red Top "IS CLOSED" until May 15th this year. The reason being is the trails are regulated along with the road restrictions. I will keep everyone posted on future plans. >>
Hmmmmm? ........So can we transfer over and ride the Nemadji Forest instead?

Nemadji is fine with me, I went there several times in the last few years. I know they filled in the good mud spot last year with gravel. I did not know BRF has all those signs, that kinda puts a damper on things, I guess I am up for Nemadji thats aways fun up there.

Nemadji is a possibility. They have gotten a lot of snow there recently, so hopefully the trails will be in good shape at that time. If anyone else is up for this, please post. I've only been there once, so I'm not familiar with the trails.

we could do like we did last year and meet at Banning Junction for breakfast, and then head up to Nickerson to drop off. As long as they haven't closed this trail down as well. I'm willing to do this one if we have the interest.
