Has anyone ridden the red dot trail, up in n.Minnesota by silver bay? what are the trails like? Is there enough for a days ride. Thanks for info

 

I have ridden the Red Dot. Although the scenery was great, I was very unimpressed with the extreme overmanagement of the area. The trails were very wide, very smooth and hard packed. They almost seemed groomed. We never came across any type of challenge that even a novice rider would have had trouble with. There was not enough there to keep me busy for a whole day, but depending on what you like to ride it should be worth a look. And like I always say....

Even a bad day riding is better than a good day at work!

 

thanks for info on red dot trail, sounds like it is way to smooth of a ride for me, the muddier and rougher the better. Vmaxer
