Im Going on the 30th of march but we normally on the north side of ocala near the rodman resevoir is the big scrub better is there a camping area nearby that you can park an RV and ride to the forest like there is at lake oklawaha any info appreciated

You should check out both ends of the Ocala National Forest. By that I mean Lake Delancy on the north end and Big Scrub Campground on the south end. If you notice, there are different numbers for the north district than that of the south. Example: 588 is on the south end (South District) and 88 is north. The south end roads have '5' in front of their original number. The border is State Road 40. All used to be one district. The camping sites are actually better at Lake Delancy but Big Scrub is bigger. You have trees at Lake Delancy campground but very few at Big Scrub. If you get there early enough you can set up camp next to the wood line on the west end of Big Scrub which makes for a pretty good camp site.
