hey guys, u have to find the trail that will get u to stag hill. no-one bothers u up there. i wouldnt worry about the jackson whites. i've ridden there many many times and never had a problem. i took that trail for about 2 hours and never reached the end. the riding there gets boring if u cant find your way to stag hill. thats where the trail goes all the way to tennessee if u wish. u would have to cross some streets but from what i've heard it goes all the way to tenn. anyone that would like to meet up there i would be glad to show u the trails. As far as needing 4-wheel drive, i disagree. i only have a lakota sport with 2 wheel drive and i go just fine. It is very rocky at some points but as long as u have skid plates u shouldnt have a problem. The riding is very technical at some points though. not for the weak of heart or the kids. u should be experienced b-4 u attempt to ride here. Let me know if anyone wants to meet up, maybe saturday, june 29th.

I guess your right jwkawi. I was just basing that on what i heard and when i went up there with my kx. Its definitly not for dirt bikes. There are too many rocks and no where to open her up.

287N until you get right past the mahwah exit (66) then youll see the Sheraton International Cross Roads, get into the right lane and go up the curb into the dirt area, on the weekend youll see other trucks and trailers there.

How far past the exit are you supposed to go before you pull off the road?

maybe 200 yards. not too far, just after the traffic gets ON 287 from route 17.
