Hey guys/gals, new here and looking for riding buddies. Appalacia Bay at Lake Keystone (Near Sand Springs) is where we are almost every weekend.

Anyone else ride there, or someplace else I could ride with you?

You might go to www.occra.com

They have a lot of places listed that they race cross country at and that also allows for weekend riding.

I live in Jenks so Keystone is a pretty good place to ride for me too. I spend most of my day trying to keep from getting ran over by 60 mph DSRaptor400EXScamblerBansheeWarrior things.

It's quite a haul but by far the best place I have found to ride is in the Ouachita National Forest down south of Poteau. It's about a 3 hour drive so it makes for a long day but if you can spend the night and do a little camping......

Were you at Appalachia Bay last weekend? I saw 2 TB250s. 1 had a scantily clad female aboard and the other one did not. The other one was riding with a guy on a Yamaha of some kind. Kept hoping the girl would have quad problems but just not my luck.

I wish someone would scare up a place to ride in NW Arkansas. Give me a shout next time you're going to Keystone. I'd like to see your TB up close. I'm thinking about one for my son.

Yeah! One of them was me. I bought the 250 for my 10yr old daughter & 16 yr old son to ride. My buddy was with me on my red SP400 and another buddy was riding a green Kawasaki.
I'll be there tomorrow morning bright and early.

Hey,
I live in Okmulgee. I should be at Appalachia Bay next Saturday. I just bought a 400ex today, but I wanted yellow and they only had red. It should be in next week. Anyway, my wife and daughter will be with me. Red Recon, Red 250EX. Come say hello!

kd5hrm,

The Polaris dealer in Okmulgee is called SMI, (Stewart Martin Inc.) They sell and rent Kubota tractors and stuff like that. They are also Polaris and Kawasaki dealers. They are on the far north side of town on the west side of Hwy 75. You'll see all the tractors and used 4-wheelers parked along the highway. David Martin can help you with any of the rental stuff but another guy named Fred handles the ATV's. Hope that helps.

Brad,
Would appreciate detailed info about where you ride in the Ouachita Nat'l Forest, south of Poteau. We have ridden in the Wolf Pen Gap area in the forest on the Arkansas side and that was pretty good. My e-mail is bengine02@netscape.net. I ride a Prairie 650, which is having mucho belt and converter problems, and my wife rides a Prairie 300 and has no problems. I did have a Prairie 400 for 3 years with no problems. Wish I had it back!! Glenn

GEEBEE,

I sent a map to your email address. Let me know if you need more info. Is GEEBEE like the GeeBee racer airplane? My son has a model of one of those sitting on my desk.

250EXited,

Does SMI keep an inventory of parts or does he just sell quads like the dealer I bought mine from? How are the prices on used quads?

Brad, There is a new Polaris dealer in Tulsa. Polarisoutdoors.com is their website. They are in the process of building the dealership and are currently working out of the back of another business. He does have some parts in stock(and lots of quads). Givem a call tomorrow @ 250-1400
