I just called the campground that is advertised on the web page for this event. They are booked !! They gave me two other campgrounds that are a little far for my likeing !! So i did some research and found another campsite.. Its called Loletta Rd Travel Trailer. They have sites available and are right down the road from Forest Ridge (which was booked). Lolettas is cheaper too.
$18 for 4 adults !! The only thing, ATV's must remain on trailer. Does anyone now about Forest Ridges rules ??

Whos going and where are you staying?? Interested in hooking up at night to meet some of you guys !!
What do you think !!!

I live pretty close to Marionville but I've never went to Tour de Forest. Does anybody know what the trails are like because I've heard alot of my friends say it isn't worth going to because you just beat the hell out of your ATV. Is this true?

The trail you're referring to is the Marienville "bike trail" which is a 20 mile loop that will loosen all your fillings. That trail will put the test to your swingarm guard!

The tour de forest is a long, layed back type of ride that little kids could do with ease. It is mostly dirt roads and some woods\trail.

I have heard both stories about the type of riding.. I ahve heard its an easy set of trails, but also heard there is some good rough terrian. I was considering not going, but then decided it will just be a great time to get out with a big group and meet some great people. And do some decent riding !! Its about the people too !! Its a great sport, and the "RIDERS" make it that way!!
Hope to see you guys there !! I believe it is going to be a great time !!!
I now our group of 4 are looking forward to it !!

I posted earlier that Bachmans market was out of business due to their building burning down. They are now back in business next door to where they were.

I still wish that the Fire company would pick a weekend and stay with it. It is hard to plan leave when you don't know which weekend to take off.

Three friends and I will be there. Luckily, my neighbor has a hunting cabin about 1 mile south of Marienville, thus no camping problems. Just hope that it rains in the preceding days, last spring's dust bowl was beyond belief.
