We are new to ATV riding and are planning a trip to St. Joe's over Labor Day weekend. Sounds like a great place to ride from what I find on the web. Have been to Badlands in Indiana, how does St. Joe's compare? How much does it cost for a day of riding? Does Missouri require any registration fees (we live in Illinois)?
By the way, we ride '02 Trailbosses and are into trailriding but not really deep water or mudding up to the handlebars, just like to ride on a variety of trails and do some hill climbing.
Thanks in advance for the advice.

You will like St Joes. I has all different kinds of riding. All you have to do is look around when you get there. I think the fees is $3.00 per rider. You must have a flag and a helment. As far as stickers for registrations,I've never heard of anyone being checked.

Thanks for the info., looking forward to our trip. Unfortunately, there are not many places to ride on public land in Illinois. St. Joe's looks like 1 1/2 hours dirve time.

Looked at your pics. That NOS on your quad is impressive. Must be even more impressive to ride!

A group of us rode there last spring and found it a very nice area to ride. Sand flats and wooded trails with some fairly steep hills give you plenty of various riding conditions. My wife just got a Trailboss 325 also and we are thinking of heading down that way sometime in Sept.
