Has anyone stayed here while riding Wolf Pen Gap?

Yes! We have stayed at Suger Creek many times and think it is great. They have a number of different units, called Bear Lodge, Mountain Lodge, River Lodge and others. Each lodge is different and in most cases sleeps different numbers of people. Some have two bedrooms with regular double beds, some have King size beds. Some have two bath rooms. One (Bear Lodge) has One master bed room with a loft with six or eight twin beds. It's like a dormitory. They all have kitchens with cooking utensils furnished. The lodges mostly run about $120.00 per night which is not so bad with you split the cost with other folks.

I will warn you that Sugar Creek is a beautiful place to sleep and play. It is not where you ride your ATV. I belive the speed limit on the grounds 5 or 10 mph. Once you leave the grounds of Sugar Creek, you are at the trails. You can either ride in Wolf Pen Gap or ride the great trails outside of Wolf Pen. You can ride your ATV from Sugar Creek right on to the trails.

To access a few trails, you may need to ride on a highway (375)for a few miles; but it is no big deal.

Sugar Creek is a great place to stay and Wolf Pen Gap is a great area to ride.

Go for it Weedy. A real nice to stay and don,t have to load and unload the trailer. Be sure to check out the baby rattlers at the petting zoo.
