If you want to ride the Danbury trails (IE Gandy Dancer) some friends of mine and I are heading up that way in mid to late october. I'm from the Red Wing area (about 1hr straight up from Winona). We'd be glad to show you around.
Their will be about 4 or 5 of us, and we're only riding for a day, but we'll be hitting much more than the Gandy.
It's kinda boring...straight and long.
We'll be hitting the Nemadji state forest for sure, which is a blast at all times of the year.
Hope you got a 4x4.

Hey I live in Duluth and know of some places you might wanna try,silverbay has nice grommed trails in the winter that will take you to finland,beaverbay,ect and in the winter if you are willing to ride on frozen lake to goof around try riding on lax lake (I am gonna be there most of winter), cloquet Mn also has trails that I rode on and there is a lot of trails in cloqet ill tell ya or if you like hills sand mud or just riding around there is the carter pits in cloquet and you can ask wher it is but you can get in there from the soo line trail.I have never gone to gilbert but friends told me that you are always being watched and thaey wont let you in if you dont have all the safty equip,my friend has a cabin in the range/virgina area and if you are planning on going anywhere up there you must like dirtbike filled gravel pits and mines!
