its a old mining site where they mined for clay its got lots of trails and hill climbs and some home made race tracks mx and flat track.

 

Where is malvern Ar? I live in Jacksonville Ar. I would like to try that place out. Sounds good.

Yes I have dug back a bit to find this place. But I'm new to the area of Arkansas, an want to find out where to ride. The way I found this post was by doing a search for arkansas riding and this one came up. So where can I find more info. about this riding place or can you give me direction on how to get there? I live in Jacksonville Ar. So any info you could give me would greatly needed.

SS2, take I30 west out of Little Rock to the Malvern exit (about 40 minutes from LR ) Take the first exit towards Hot Springs. About 1 mile you will come to Hwy 51. Take it to Butterfield and Magnet Cove. Right after you go through MC you will see a sign on the right hand side of the road that says Baroid, follow that road and it will take you right to it. I have never ridden there but I work real close to it. If you are there on a weekend you will more than likely see other wheelers headed towards it as a lot of people ride there. I am not bashing this forum, just giving some info. Look at ATVQUADSQUAD FORUM (riding areas) and check I believe South and Southeast, a lot of Arkansa rides are posted there. Also there is a new Arkansa club that rides at Wilburn a lot. They post in the Highlifter forum. Again I am not bashing this forum just giving someone new to this area a little info on where to go to find riding info. Hope to meet you on the trails some time.

 

Baroid is a great place to ride. Just watch out for the blind cliffs on some of the trails. I haven't been around Arkansas or that area in 4 years. (Joined the Navy) I know there was talk of gating it off and shutting it down before I left. I'll be back at the end of the month and I hope to ride there again. Put alot of riding time in there when I was a kid.
