tony is closed for good,it was on the news tuesday,it's very sad, i did most of my riding there, anyway shelton is not too far from thurston,i really dont like tahuya the trails are kind of small at least where my friends took me,so you have to go slow, shelton is not like tahuya is alot smaller but they have bigger trails so you can get a real work out.big honda is going friday,i'm going saturday.i may ride both days, for sure i will ride saturday.

this is a sad thing. i read the article and what was said on the seattle motorcycle club links.
it's just another example of how obvious the state and counties of western washington don't care about the people or thier opinions. they will feel it in thier economy this coming year. it was a very bad move to close it down as the sport has been on the rise consistently for the last 5-8 years and shows no signs of slowing.
the talk about privatizing is good, but just as i read in the article...between the lines... they have other recreational plans for it... most likely to serve some tree-hugger cause. i wish i could follow the money trail on this one, because it already stinks.
secondly- what happened to government OF, BY and FOR the PEOPLE.
