Missouri Spring Ride
Can you give me directions to St. Jo riding area and the rules and regulations for the spring ride. We would be coming through Springfield so I need to know the best way and how long it would take to get there. I live 2 hours south of Springfield so it would take awhile to get there, is the area worth it.

mh127- If your closer to West Plains than Springfield your quickest way would be to take 63 out of West Plains to Licking (my home town) then take 32(E) over to the park. If your closer to Springfield then take 60 out of Springfield to 63(N) to Cabool then in Licking get on 32(E). Your looking at about a 5 hour trip atleast. To give your a ruff estimate on the time it takes to get to Licking from West Plains is 1 hour and from Springfield it's 1 1/2. Then from Licking it take about 2 to 2 1/2 hours.
Helmet, flag and a daily pass is all you really need. I don't remember if the pass is 2 or 3 dollars. Hope this is what your were looking for. If you need to know more email me @ fm1986mcss@msn.com.

Your From Licking? We ride a lot near Sucess, MO. A buddy of mine (his family ) owns 180? acres a little outside of Sucess. We come down from about 30 mi NE of St.Louis. There's some pretty decent riding, mostly fire/logging roads. We have a good time and usually end up getting lost 1 or 2 times. My friend just got a new Polaris 500 HO and his boy a Sportsman 90, There's a pair of old 250 trailblazers, and a Suzuk in our group, So we've all been itching to do some riding. I've been hoping to upgrade my Big Bear to a Grizzly this year. Anyway, if there are any places that we shouldn't miss near you e-mail some DETAILED directions. hope to see ya on the trails! drottie@charter.net
