Does anyone know of any riding areas in Iowa? Our family owns some property but the same old scenery gets old after a while know what I mean? Between our property and the neighbors we have like 600 plus acres to ride on. But im looking for a different place/scenery to ride in. It kind of loses its fun when you know where every bend, bump, corner on the place. But hey its fun to race people on a place like that! =-P Especially when you know shortcuts! Anyhow thanks for your time! =-)

I live in Burlington and there is a place called Midwest Off Road Enthusiasts in Montrose. It's about 30 minutes from where I live. It's 428 acres of mostly timber. I joined when it was new. They only had a trail going around the perimiter off it. I have not been there since late last summer. I've heard that they have a bunch of new trails to ride on. When it gets alittle nicer out I'll have to give it another try. It costs $100 per year or $10 per day. Want to go sometime let me know.

Check out this web site...http://www.state.ia.us/dnr/organiza/ppd/atvtrails.htm

I used to live in Burlington and heard there was a 600 acre riding area near Keokuk.

There is a riding area right outside Waterloo just north of you,I have heard about it, and checked it out on the web, I forget the site I was on,but you should be able to find it,look up some of the area clubs, they should have info. I was thinking of checking it out,my parents live in New Hampton, about an hour from there, then my son and I could visit, and ride there,a great combo trip !!

Hey, I am like 12 miles south of Des Moines, in Indianola. I go down south farther to a town that is like 8 miles south-west of Oskaloosa. It is called Bussey and the place I ride is called Bluff Creek OHV park. it is pretty fun. It has tons of hillclimbs, from easy to FREAKIN NUTS! It has two fun motocross tracks (I guess you could call the that) and one small "practice" track. It's got quit a few trails too. Somethig for everyone: utility, sport, dirtbikes, you name it. I would like to get together with someone from Iowa to go riding down there with some friends of mine also. If anyone is interested give me a shout, my email is Benedark03@aol.com
