I'm planning a vacation soon with the wife. We'd like to go atving and I thought I'd post a topic on where the best places to ride are to get some feedback on where we should go. I'm in Sioux Falls South Dakota, I've heard there's a good trail in MN, but I also heard it's pretty busy.
I've rode in the Black Hills and I'd recommend that for good riding. Especially at night, it's extremely dark. A good place to stay is 4 Corners Wyoming. It's on the west side of the Black hills. An old gal and her daughter own the place. They cook, clean, clean your deer, cook you breakfast - what ever is needed. Real nice bunch. They have a mini-grocery and post office. You can also ride your atv from the front door into the black hills.
Anybody ride in Montana or West Wyoming?

 

Try the Big Horn Mts. in Wyoming (near Sheridan). Miles and miles of fantastic trails from beginner to advanced. You need to go up on top and stay at Bear Lodge (Burgess Jct.). The views and the wildlife that you see on these trails are great.
