Rob, hows your weekend looking?

 

I have a class tomorrow morning but I'm good for the afternoon.

I was told there is a place where card sound rd branches from US1 on the left side called the humps. A lot of people go to ride and BarBQ there on the weekends. I was told there and miles of trails and lots of "humps".

Also, I read that the Florida Trail Riders is working on an ORV park in the miami/broward area, might be ready in the next few months!

 

Rob,I was told also about that place, the "humps" are on the entrance road , they also call it alabama jacks, should be the same place. Im ten minutes away from there, so I went after work in my truck to get a look around, yea it's looks good.

Tomorrow is no good for me, but Sunday is.

 

the creek is really low at the jungle right now............
this is the best time to go..........
im getting ready to head there now for some night riding.........

 

Red, how was that Saturday night ride in the jungle? Was the creek low enough to ride across without an airbox lid?

yes it was low enough to cross with no air lid..........
but there's no telling how deep it is now,if they opened the spillway...
its never real deep just about 1and 1/2 to 3and1/2 feet deep........

we found a huge pipe that goes under i-95 for about 2-3miles.
it was a little creepy.we ran a couple of hogs out of there....

it was pretty fun

 

Hey Guys !!!

It's great to see that the sport is alive and well in South Fl....I have not ridden since I broke my collar bone a few months ago at Big Scrub ( damn woops)....I usually ride "Lost Lake", but was recently told that it has been sold for development and the new owners already put up barriers....

I am intersted in the Jungle ...how far is this from Miami Lakes and when will you be there to ride

hmmm 200 miles..I think thats one for a wknd roadtrip..but I am up for it..let me see when I can get a couple of guys to go check it out...

How about the place called the humps off Cardsound..I think that would be closer...When do you guys ride there ?
