Do you mean Gilmanton? I think there is some riding over that way. check out NH trails bureau website. There is crap around here for riding (southeastern NH), you have to trailer them somewhere. I generally go up north to the North Country ATV club trails in and around Stratford, Groveton etcetera. If you're into camping, we go to a place called Scotts Big Rock campground, it is an atv friendly campground, nothing fancy but super nice people, and the best thing is you can ride right out of your campsite into 130+ miles of trails. Most of the big trail systems are above the white mts. Any way, if you go to the northcountryatv website there is a link to trails bureau website. Check out the NCATV calendar of events, and make sure you go to this years quad rodeo. Lots of fun. Hey, I just realized how old this post was. Oh well, hope your still listening.

We have been giving some thought of camping up there this year. Is there anything to do for the non riders of the group at the campground or in town?

Don't really know, I'm always riding the whole time I'm there.

Also I read somewhere that they did not allow trail bikes there? Would I be wrong in hoping they meant Mtn bikes, and not dirt bikes? Because I have a few buddies who prefer the 2 wheeled variety...

yes, that is true, no trail bikes. (dirt bikes), at least on the NCATV club trails. I think that is their main selling point when they are trying to get permission from landowners.

Sorry for the late responce Northstar2. Thanks for the info I will check it out. Is that quarter mile drag strip still there? (Epping) I have a lot of memories from that place years ago.

Thanks for your responses. That may have to be a plan for this summer season.

nccracing, yes it's still there, in fact I noticed tonight on my way home from work that they are open. On Wednesday and Friday nights they have street night, I go over and watch when I have time, it's really big now with all the kids being into the little tuner cars. Usually at least a couple hundred street cars there on Wednesdays.
