Where to ride NH

Thats cool to know that they are still allowing that. Me and my buddys used to bring up whatever we could get our hands on to race, from bikes, cars, trucks or whatever. Realy had good times and alot of laughs. I may go there to check it out again. Without racing...Thanks Northstar2

yes, they do allow street bikes. They generally try to organize them into groups so all the bikes go two at a time, then more cars. If you wanted to race against someone in particular, they try to accomodate you, but it's a big crowd now. I've seen 400 cars show up on a Wednesday on a nice day. I wouldn't be surprised if they start doing it another night, too. The Fast and the Furious movie did wonders for the racing community. Lots of new blood and new ideas. I grew up with stock car racing and later got into muscle cars-never thought I'd see the day a front wheel drive 4 cylinder could beat a big block Chevy.
Anyway, You have to have a helmet and I think leathers to race a bike, for a car you just need a long sleeve shirt and long pants. They do a pre race inspection of the vehicles, but I think they're just looking for bald tires or fuel leaks, stuff like that. Last season it was $20 to race, $10 to watch. Come on up, it's a great time!
