Rebel I heard that. The bad thing about it was the hill wasn't so bad, he just didn't know how to climb it. I'm kinda glad he didn't see me climb it so easily after he rolled down it twice, cause I just hate the sight of blood on an atv If ya know what I mean. Hey Mississippigirl everyone is important. I use to think that there would be no way I could do anything to change what the forest service is doing to our trails but now with people from all over Mississippi coming together I think maybe we can have a voice in where our tax dollars are spent. Its about time us (atv) riders get some of the tax money spent on something we want instead of another bicycle trail that no one uses. Just send me your info and I'll keep you posted.

You guys should go check out RED CREEK OFFROAD PARK. It's off Highway 15 on Vestry RD. In fact, they are having a huge bonfire and night ride this weekend. Only 10bucks for ATV's all day....free camping this weekend too.

Could you describe Red Creek Offroad Park? From the pictures, it looks like a place for people who want to see how many times they can get stuck in the same few holes. I want to do more than just ride in deep mud. Are there any trails and if so, how long are they? Any fast paced areas? I love riding trails and not just talking about a 1/2 mile loop through the woods. One of the reasons I'd love to visit Mena Arkansas, Talledega, Hatfield-McCoy, etc. is for the trails system. Bethel wasn't much fun because it was so narrow, but I did like Little Tiger Creek. Rattlesnake Bay was nice, too, but looks like I won't get to ride there anymore. I'd love to find places that have good trails systems.

Yea I been wondering about how it would be to take a blaster on the Red Creek trails. I talked to Bernie and he said most of the holes could be avoided, but if your riding that little thing you want almost all of them to be avoided. Oh yea guys I know I said we might be going to Red Creek this weekend but my Praire is still in the shop having some minor adjustments so it don't look like we are gonna be able to make this one. Sounds like the area will be nice when it is all finished. Bernie talked like they had an old air strip nearby and was thinking about making a drag strip for the fast boys. Anyway let us know some of you that have been to this place. I don't mind mud but I have just about gotten where I'd rather just go around it if I could. Thanks for the reply Brandjx.

Hello Fellow Trailbusters.www.southernregion.fs.fed.us/mississippi They say that Tiger Creek will be down to June of 2004. Yes,2004! Also the National Roads Policy says that they can shut down any foresty
road or trail they want too. Here are a few contacts. Gerald Farmer- Miss. Forest Supervisor- working on a link to him. David Berens-428-0594 Chickasawhay projects. Ron Smith=928-4422 Desoto projects.
KISMITH@fs.fed.us is who to get in touch with about volunteering. Rodney, I think i saw an email from
you with that address. The Desoto district is supposed to update their web site, maybe we will hear
something on RSB. The Chickasawhay district has the Tiger closure from July 03 to June 04.
It just gets me how some other states are doing so well with their trails and we get all of ours shutdown at the same time. There are supposed to be a few trails in other foresty districts. Working on this.
I rode up and down my driveway this evening. Boy that concrete is some tough terrian.

I also own a blaster and have a great time there. There is quite a bit of mud but it isn't too awful bad if it hasn't rained. There are plenty of folks with warriors and other sport bikes that have a great time. A big part of the place is three fold...one the creek is right there on the park so when you want to wash off the mud just go chill out in the creek. Two is we have our own trac-hoe operator who will make pretty much whatever we ask him to make. By next month we should have a moto cross track. Three you think there should be more trails knock yourself out and make one. That one thing you can't do on the government trails. Anyway just come out a check it out for yourself.

Hello everyone.

I have been working on geting some help from some higher sources of power for our trail problems. I have written the All Terrain Vehicle Association (ATVA) and asked for some help with our problem. In our meeting on next Saturday I will talk to everyone about whatever I find out "if they have replied by then" You know how Mississippi gets overlooked when it comes to everything but bad news "like the Lockheed Martin shooting". Anyway if they reply and offer some help I figure that our club will become a part of their organization. The ATVA is directly linked to the AMA (American Motercyclist Association) and they offer some great power in the big house. Anyway I have been working on some stuff to present to everyone at the meeting. I am gonna set up a time for Saturday at the multi purpose building tommorow. I will send everyone an email about the meeting time as well as directions to getting there. I hope we can get a few people that will concentrat on working on a few things so we can get the ball rolling on getting our trails opened back up. Oh yea I would like to maybe grill a burger or something for everyone that comes out so when you get my email please respond so I'll know who all might be comming. If anyone has anything they need to ask or any suggestions for the meeting just shoot me an email and I'll get back as soon as I get it. Catch you guys later.

Hey Ward, I got your PM. My father in law doesn't have a problem with you riding. But,
a friend talked to a local guy down there that said he got run off by someone. Might
have been somebody from the county. I don't know if he had permission or what.
We are going to try to set something up around that weekend, about ready to throw
some sand. Get back with me and let me know if you still want go. Rodney, I will be there
Saturday. Let me know if you need anything. I will sent you an email if any more folks
are coming with me. RIDE ON
