I'm here lurking!!!
If anyone's interested, some of my buddies and I will be meeting Sat. morning 9:30 on top of Blanchard Pass for about a 30 mile ride around the north side of Mt. Spokane area. We'll be riding on alot of Inland Paper land, so one of their permits is recomended. Several wives will be coming, so I'll probably guide them around the roads and meet the die hard hill climbing, mudders at the different intersections. Hope to see you Sat. morn.

 

My wife and I went for a ride yesterday. Started at the Bunco parking lot. Turned off on road 2707 that goes by the great over looks of the lake. Then dropped down to Lakeview. Headed back up to road 332 via a different route and hit some snow up towards the top. Hit more snow on road 332 in shaded spots. Went about 33 miles in all. Other than being a little cloudy it was a great day.

 

Wiz- we would love to go with you but we have a softball tournament this weekend. It sounds like its goign to be GREAT weather for you guys though. Are you going ot be able to some caching while you all are out and about [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

Looks like the next time we will be able to ride is next weekend for the Poker ride in Smelterville--HOpe to see some of you there!!

Wayback.....What does you wie ride? I bought my wifa a quad but se dosent get excited about going for a ride .....my kids do so my oldest rides it more than her....
AJC.....Pastor only gets a bad time cuz he likes to build it up bigger than life...lol....Hopefull we'll get out for a ride soon and see how she runs...you should hook up for ride with us some time...

Im thinking my next ride might be monday or tuesday after work for a couple hours.....

Ragged...Are you up to an afternoon ride tommorrow? Were talking about 1 p.m. on Sat.....thompson creek sound good? I read your last thread....I won't go there. All I will say (anything else that I say gets me more holes than swiss cheese)...the performance leap from the Vinson to the K.Q. is incredible.

 

Ragged, my wife doubles up with me. A couple of years ago I sold her Blaster because she never wanted to go. Now she isn't working and in an effort to prevent from being bored she agrees to ride with me. She even offered to help me wash my truck today. And then she actually did help! colville person here. we are thinking of coming down to the 7 mile riding area one week from today. that is, if i can get me seat back from being recovered by then [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
we will be driving a green/silver gmc 4x4 with a 6x12 enclosed trailer. has "got sand?" in BIG letters on the back of the trailer. stop by and say hi. im always looking for people to ride with.

Just got back from my last ride on the sled for the season....man Im whooped!! Geat day of sun and deep snow!! I probed 7ft at the HooDoos south of Superior MT. ..

Insty....Thats a fun place to ride but becarfull...the kids get a little crazy and and when theres alot of people you gotta be on guard...

Have you ever been to St Antoneys dunes?? (sp?)

yeah, i know, but i dont know anywhere else to ride down there. riding the 500 makes it alittle hard to go on the trails.
as far as st anthony's, i been going every year for awhile now. planning on the 2nd weekend in september this year. usually take friday and monday off work, drive all night thursday. ride all day fri, sat and sun. moring ride on monday, and show up for work on tues, flat worn out [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]
all in all, that is the best place i have found to ride so far.

Ragged...Now that the powder is gone for another year how about a ride tommorrow afternoon up thompson creek. I am wanting to get a few more miles on this thing and wrap up the break in period. Also, I am hooking up with a guy in western montana that has been riding hundreds of miles of trails just west of Missoula. My brother and I want to hit the big sky country this season.
