Let me know and we could try to get together. What do your friends ride? Raptor149, what are you getting back together if your bike was totalled?

 

It wasn't totalled, but when it hit the pavement at 40 miles an hour a lot got bent. Like my front shocks, axle, steering stem, fenders/brackets, a-arms, bars and controls, lots of fun to replace stuff. But I hope to replace the water pump on my quadracer soon to romp on that thing. Hopefully I'll be on the trails soon. Broke as a joke.

 

jeez-la-petes. at least you will be getting some new stuff. I heard that doug wouldn't let you use the truck for the dirt. Did you guys find another way to get some? are they still selling it, because i might know someone I can get a truck from? Are you going to make your new a-arms? I remember you talking about making some and was wondering if I could get in on that? I need to get a pair +2 and new suspension. I would appreciate it if you could, but I would also understand if you can't.

Sorry it took so long to get back to you...I live near Chamberlain and Winchell Rd. I'm looking for trails in the area that my son and I and some friends can ride at. We were riding at the "sand pit", this is on the corner of Crackle and Frost. However, the sheriff booted us out a few weeks ago. My understanding is this will be safe to ride again after a few weeks. I'm about a mile from there. Looking for trails in the area that we can just go on without worrying about being hassled. I've heard there are many trails in the area, just haven't come across them yet.

Let me know if you know anyplace nearby to ride. Even outside of Mantua is fine. Just looking for some place relatively close (within 1 1/2 hour would be great).

My house does not have that many trails. All I have is a track. Hopefully we will be getting some more land, but until then, I usually ride at my cousin's. He lives about 15 minutes from ravenna. He lives down past the arsenal on route 5. He has quite a bit of land. Some trails and some hills. If you want to check it out some weekend let me know. We usually ride saturdays so we can clean our stuff up or recooporate on sunday. We will definitely be riding down there the weekend of the fourth of July. You will probably have other plans, but you could try to come down one of the days. Let me know and we will try it.

Thanks for the invite. I will definitely take you up on your offer. This weekend is bad for me. Next Saturday we are planning on going down to the Rumble on the Ridge in Adena (this is a good time if you don't mind travelling). Which brings us to the fourth of July weekend. I'm sure I can break away for some fun during the weekend. Let me know when you plan on riding that weekend and hopefully we can hook up.

Where is your track located? I wouldn't mind checking that out also. Looking for different places to ride.

If your interested in the Rumble on the Ridge let me know. We leave early so we can be home by late afternoon. Usually we leave about 7:30 - 8:00 am and return by about 5:00 or so. Have you ever been there? Here is their website if you're interested (www.rumbleontheridge.homestead.com).

Thanks for asking, but I am not a person who likes to travel that much to ride. I also get a little nervous riding around that many people. As for the 4th of july, I should be down at my cousin's from thursday(3rd) to sunday(6th). I can give you directions and his address so you can look it up on mapquest or whatever. My house is in mantua.

raptor149, i am still not sure about the 27th yet. i am startly to lean towards going though. i am hoping that i have nothing important school wise that weekend. i think it would be interesting and i am thinking that i could get some good footage down there. i guess it will mainly depend on what happens at our riding party the weekend of the 20th. if your interested in coming to the party let me know. it is usually just riding in the woods and sitting around a camp fire in a field.
