Not sure where wherE Blacksone is.... you must not be too far from Uxbridge. Check out Uxbridgemsp.com , There are also several state forests open to atv's with miles and miles of trails. Check out NEATV in the Mass. clubs section.

Well,I live near Albany NY but my g/f lives in RI so I am all up and down Mass and RI.
We found a place in RI that is just off exit 5 on I95.
I can get you better directions if you are interested.
Its a huge dirt lot(hard pack sand/dirt) with dirt dunes and jumps and trails extending off to the outskirts but we've not explored those yet.
Its private property so the DEC cannot harass you.
Its also widely used with many people going on most nice days, and we're told the owner of the property does not mind at all with people riding there.
in fact his house is close by and he never hassles anyone.
Other than that,we plan on riding in the Mass State parks in western mass.
look at www.massparks.com for info on that.

I'll be checking out some other spots in RI as well very soon, but the spot in Greenwich off exit 5 looks to be the safest as far as legality goes.
There are a few spots in Coventry right off route 3 that a coventry COP told my g/f about, cuz he says those are places HE(the cop) rides HIS quad......but the one spot is basically marked as DEC property and I'd be nervous riding there.
Theres some GORGEOUS sand dunes off Division Road in East Greenwich, and it used to be open to bikes and quads but then people started driving trucks in there and tearing it apart,so they closed it.

There was talk about opening it again, but who knows.
I see people riding there from time to time, and oddly enough its packed with sleigh riders in the winter.
Anyway, its not really legal to ride there anymore, and I am told the fine is 300 bucks for doing so.
I'm sure the sleigh riders never get a ticket though......hahahaha.
