OK, maybe it doesen't suck, but man it sure disappointed me.
Maybe I was mis-informed. Maybe I expected more from it.
In defense of the area, there ARE trails.
The area IS HUGE. There are few trees. No woods riding.
The "watercrossings" are sparce, and a zero on the difficulty scale.
I wear full riding gear when riding. I rode this area in shorts, sneakers and no helmet.
No need to waste the good gear on a lame ride.
OK....did I miss the good spot or is it four square miles of nothing but boring?

Well, I ride Plam Bay every weekend. And it's obvious you did not know where to look. There are places out there that I don't dare ride on my DS650. It's 4X4 all the way.
By the way, were you out there Sunday on your KFX? If so, you rode by us a couple times.
Next time you come to town let me know. Let a local show you around his turf. There's a lot to see if you know where to ride.

I HOPE I AM WRONG!
Maybe a local knows the good trails, and Glenn, I would love to find them.
Please let me know when and where, I'll be there.
and no, I was there Friday afternoon only....there is ANOTHER KFX 700 out there?
...and I thought I was unique!

It was the first KFX 700 I saw out there.
Me and a group of guys ride every Sunday about 11am. But this weekend we are going to the Rabbit Run (20 mile night ride), but still might ride Sunday at 11am. I always park in a large field by the dirt mounds (a bunch of dump truck dirt mounds). I drive a lifted Ford F-250, tan.
Hope to see ya out there,
Glenn

if anyone seen the yellow 400ex hitting the jumps

Ilovemymudder,
you need a tour guide.
there is plenty of stuff to do out there.
unless you dont like mudding,
or track riding,
or jumping,
or trails.........
i would be happy to show you around out there......

I apologize -
Obviously, I have missed all the good riding
and I need a tour guide.
When I passed the Bombardier plant,
I went beyond the big hill
drove left and passed the dirt mounds
the dirt mounds look fun, lot of action -
(so many airborne ATV’s
it looked like a Huevos Video!)
Beyond that was an awesome MX track
which looked well maintained and well planned.
I parked west of this track at a place someone named
“Carole’s Culvert” (At least it was spelled correctly)
I rode the trails along the canal - north a couple miles,
south a couple miles - Great trails, just not enough of them.
Bordered by the canal on the west, open land to the east.
I packed up and drove around the area to “The Stacks”.
I followed the canal east for a while, then returned to the trailer.
I then went west for a while.
Hardpacked trails were great, just not enough.
To the eastern side of the ride spot looked like residential area.
Where did I go wrong?
Are there trails beyond the canal?
Maybe I just totally missed them.

D O R A L rules!! Gary we may be spoiled, if you've only been to crappy places like croom, maybe palm bay does seem like a great riding area...? I retain Doral and cypress as my top two, and croom and ONF as my worst two...I hope you do go check this out with a local and find these great trails mentioned above. Then it might be worth the drive over... Keep us posted!

Beyond the canal at the power lines there is a big lake. At wetter times of the year it is somewhat challenging to make it around the lake without getting stuck a few times. That's usually where we have the most fun. We were out there yesterday and it was pretty dry. We did manage to find a couple of good mud holes around the lake though.
