I think it's time for our half of the state to get in on some of the riding! I would like to get all of you southern Minnesota riders to get together and start working on Legal riding areas! A group of riders from the Morton area are trying very hard to get a trail together. I rode with them a few weeks ago and we put on 67 miles and the riding was great but not legal. There is also an ATV in Trimont MN, north of Fairmont with a DNR trail to be open next year! I have been checking out areas around Mankato and talking to landowners to see what I can do. It is really slow and impossible to do alone. The only thing I have really accomplished so far is, get a large stack of maps and paper on my desk and a very dirty truck!
