Helmets can be overrated and at the same time crucial. I think depending on what kind of riding you are doing should determine if you need a helmet. If your crawling through a 5 foot hole in 1st gear,i mean seriously. But if your in 5th gear trail riding, then by all means. People should stop worrying about everybody else and look at themselves.

At least have a helmet on. Thats why we are always called "stupid atv riders" or "dumb". But I guess you'll see why you should've wore one someday. Nice pics though!</end quote></div>
I am so used to wearing a helmet on a streetbike or a quad I wouldn't feel right without one on. It keeps my head warm and keeps me safe, its a win-win situation in my book. Hey its your life though, you are an adult, its your decision.

Awesome pics, would love to come try that out. You guys do need some snorkels for that kind of boating. As far as the helmet issue, to each their own. Sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. Dont need some internet bully telling me about it. Hell in PA, you have to wear one when riding state trails, but motorcyclists don't have to on the street. Doesnt make sense but who cares. The way I see it, you are not going to cause me bodily harm by not wearing a helmet so if you choose not too, so be it.
The best way to get by without a snorkel is not to go 1st or 2nd in the group. If the first 2 sink, climb out of the creek and drop back in where you can see bottom .

Never Go First...Good Advice... We have a guy (I think Every group has one), that will do anything. The first trip on his new Honda he went through about a 30 ft. mud hole. Got halfway through and started spinning, jumped up and down on the racks then just jumped in and started pushing the quad all the while holding it WOT. Me and another buddy are running down the mudhole with him laughing our butts off yelling get back on and use 4wd. LOL what an awesome day! I'll never forget that one.

We have one to, we call him scuba Steve, he is the guy on the waterfall on the Rancher. He is a realy good rider, but always has to push the envelope, and usualy ends up hydrolocking the engine every other time we ride. Our group can have a water logged Rancher running again in under 10 min, due to lots of practice. If you guys ever are in the area of Chardon Ohio and want to join us on a weekend creek ride, PM me. I don't see us doing any creek rides until April though, at the earliest.
