'06 450 won't start

The filter I put in has a replaceable element in it. One thing has me worried, though....the canister part is made of glass. I have it secured well and it is made for boats (they take a lot of pounding) so I hope it will be ok. This way, I can take a quick glance and see if fuel/trash is in the filter.
I would love a new one, but I don't take too much care of my stuff due to laziness...This Rhino sits out in the yard uncovered about 25 yards from the marsh...just got a cover this Christmas, but the salt air will probably wreak havoc on it eventually.
Back quarter panel is broken off from a roll-over...I need to tackle that next. Buddy has a complete set of plastic for me to have as soon as I just go get it.

I would think the glass one will be fine. I'm just the opposite. I make the wife park outside in the snow. Our toys are garage kept and I wash them after every ride and use plastic polish on them!! This was our 06 660.

This is our 08 700.
