Blaster dying!?!

Default Blaster dying!?!

Well I go out last nite install my reed spacer and clutch and brakes. And new reeds. And plug. Well today the thing isnt running worth a crud. I am getting a little pissed any suggestions!?! I have going to turn it back to stock today i think and see what happens. Unless anyone has other suggestions

Did you do it yourself or did you get a trained mechanic to do it?
because either way, I'm sure it's not the mods being defective. It's probably a case of " somebody didn't put it back together right"

Default Blaster dying!?!

Went back that afternoon, took it all the way apart again and redid it. Piece by piece. Runs fine now. Must have had a Air leak around the spacer or what not...

yeah its usually sumthin simple that gets yer blood going....
annoying isnt it? glad ya got it fixed tho.
did ya know about the two possible spots for the spacer and their effect on performance?

spacer between barrel and reeds moves the reeds back, gives you more midrange, and supposedly makes the reeds last longer.
spacer between the reeds and the carb lengthens the intake tract on the high end and is supposed to increase your top end performance.
Now i have heard this from several ppl who would know, tho i never tried it myself. wish i had that kind of tinker time.
just sumthin you should consider, especially if you have a pipe on it. can make a big diff, since most pipes for 200cc rigs are tuned for wide open..
