Default Raptor Bolt on swing arm extension

These swingarm extensions that this forum is talking about are very strong and well designed. My buddy got a set before I have and he is pretty tough on his bike and will ride up and jump off just about anything he can see. Thats when I thought to myself, if it could hold up to his expectations then mine should be a breeze! I think I put about 10 or 12 links in mine but it does depend on your sprockets your using.

Where did you get your 4.5 inch extension? I bought one from a guy on Ebay and cannot find where I bought it anymore. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
JK

Do you have to make any changes to the shock or brake lines going 4.5, or anything else?

The stock brake line will work fine, you just loosen a bolt and turn it. The parking brake cable will have to be disconnected. Those things and a 106 link chain are all you need. The skid plate will not bolt up though. Overall I love mine.

Mr45auto
Thanks for the information, does the 4.5 extension have any negitive effects such as turning around the trees at the bottom of the idiot holes at Sandlake?

Turning radius is increased quite a bit but the stability you get coming out of the idiot holes is well worth it. No more worrying if you're gonna flip over backwards from gassing it too much. Just nail the throttle and do it.
