Default How Important Are Warrior Oil Coolers With These Mods?

Sup Guys,
I'm going to be getting the Alba Cam & Spring kit,Alba Torque Stuffer,HD Clutch Springs(dont really affect heat) and Jets. Do you think I'll really need an Oil cooler without any problems? Thanks in advance.

Any air cooled motor can benefit from an oil cooler, to get the maximum from your Warrior after modding it, an oil cooler will help prevent clutch fade and prolong the life of your oil. Also, the top end tends to run a little hot, redirecting cooled oil to the cam area helps a lot.

I have the Alba kit with ported and polished head. I bypassed my cooler when I broke the engine in to see how hot it was. If you think it runs hot stock...wait untill after the mods! I believe the cooler is a necessity. Check out this Ebay Auction for more info.

I would also forget about the torque stuffer...it didn't seem to do much on my stock motor.

buying a torque stuffer with a top end cam is essentially building a hotrod and asking it to breath through a straw. It would take away from top end you get, but at the same time not be enough to make up for the bottom end the cam makes you lose. If you want torque that bad get a cam with different duration. I think all a torque stuffer is really for is so you can get the look and sound of an aftermarket pipe but still have the restriction of stock.
