20" Fast Trekkers on a Raptor??
#1
I am looking for a new set of rear and front tires. I have chosen to go with the Titan Fast Trekkers 20X10X10. I have heard that their 20" tires sit lower than the stock 20" tires. Is this true and by how much, bc i dont want to be losing any ground clearance. Also what is the diff. gonna be running a 10" rim compared to the 9" stock rim, or should i saty with the 9".Any info. or suggestions on this topic will be greatly appreciated,as i want to know a few things before i go ahead and order them. Thanks a lot.

I run the Fast trekkers on my trail banshee. I LOVE the fronts. They are unbeatable. The rears are excelent in straightline and in hardpack corners. In slippery conditions, they slide a little more than desireable in the tight corners. I have the 20X10X10's. At top end, these tires vibrate pretty hard due to the lug spacing. The narrower trekkers arent spaced as far. I have a set of 18X9.5X10's that have the narrower spacing.
I love the look of these tires on my bike. I am considering the holeshot XCT for the rear, but I don't like the holeshot front or the look of Trekker fronts, xct rears together so I don't know what I will do. The price is the reason I went for the trekkers originally.

I just put Fast trekkers on the front of my Lakota and first ride out a puntured the sidewall, they hooked up great up until that point. A fellow rider that was out there with me told me the front trekkers are easily puntured on the sidewall, i hope thats B.S. Any info on these fronts will be appreciated. Also do you like the trekkers on the backs?
Thanks Chris

Trekkers aren't a real thick tire. I belive 2 ply is the only way they come compared to holeshots that are available in 4 and possibly even 6 ply. I have put holes in the sidewall of my holeshots also though. I won't go back to holeshots because of the EXCELLENT traction of the trekkers.
