Problem with raptor

the smoke clears up after it warms up, it is more noticible when it is idling. It will not idle for more than a minute or so. I pulled the choke out of the carb and found it was stuck open. I cleaned it up and the problem was still there.

Check the intake boots for cracks outside and inside. Check the float levels. Make sure the flotas aren't sticking. Change the plug just because. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] Sounds like you've been checking all the obvious stuff already. Good Luck.

I hate to suggest this, but it worked for a friend on his Warrior. Purchase some race fuel 110-114 octane and run it through the engine. There is a good possablity that it will clear up. It shouldn't harm your motor. Unless you are running very lean already
