Default Problem with raptor

I am having problems getting my raptor to run. I have pulled the carbs of and cleaned them thouroghly. The only way i can get it to crank up is to pull the air tubes coming from the airbox off of the carbs. There is black smoke when it finnaly cranks up, maybe running to rich???

How was it last time you rode? Have you done anything to it since? Stood it up to was, changed the oil, anything? The more you can tell us the better we can help you

There is a good chance that the gas is bad. Did you treat the gas before storage? How did you store the bike?

If you didn't treat the gas you are going to want to empty your tank and clean your carbs. Then add new gas and everything should be fine.

Did you do this prior to the black smoke?

Hmmmmm

Does the smoke clear after the bike is hot?

Check for nests and such anywhere possable muffler airfilter the boots to the carbs.

Are the carb boots loose? Sometimes the boots aren't sealed proporly to the carb or airbox this prevents the bike from running proporly
