01 Raptor bearing problem
Bought my 01 Raptor used and had a seris of problems. Wondering if its been abused or just dumb luck heres the list
1st Intake boots cracked & leaking Replaced
2nd Clusth disk came apart while riding Replaced
3rd Starter 1 way clutch went out Replaced
4th Rear axle bearings went out REPLACED then went out a second time REPLACED again then went out again
What would be causing the bearing to go after about 10 hours riding on trails (no creaks)
Am I cursed or what.

01 Raptor bearing problem
I suspect the spacer tube in the axle carrier is not in spec, it seperates the races on both bearings and allows the axle to be tightened without sideloading the bearings. If the axle is tightened without the spacer in or the spacer is not wide enough to bridge the 2 bearings it will eat them.
I recommend changing the spacer tube every 2 or maybe 3 times the rear bearings are changed. I changed my bearings for the first time last season at about 250hrs.
