OK here we go,
To all the guys that complemented the work, effort and time not to mention the money I have put into this project THANK YOU VERY, VERY MUCH! I just was told about this post last night and was thrilled to read all that has been said whether positive or not. To settle things down a little bit I will tell you all that the Raptor I am working on now will far exceed this one that you have just seen in ATV Sport. I am taking all this information and considering it for the next project.
You all want to see more custom parts? How about starting with a full custom swingarm made all out of billet aluminum and with "outtacontrol" milled out of each side? The swing arm is +6 with a drag setup and wheelie bar attachment. Yes, RPM is making this piece of work custom for me as well as they are making one for UPP as well. I am having the Raptor frame welded and molded like the Harley frames you see on show Harleys. I have a custom overflo tank to replace the plastic one and I would like to have more ideas for other parts.
I do buy alot of so called "off the shelf parts" because I try to promote those builders who are helping us all out.
I am not a machinest or I would be making my own custom parts and not buying the products off the shelf.
If I were to hire all custom parts I would still be on the first one.
Listen guys I am only doing what I enjoy doing and I really enjoy the ministry I have with the quads.
I get to travel the states talking to people about the Lord and all.
You see I wouldn't even be able to do half of this if I didn't surrender my life to the Lord.
As you read in the article I came from a life of trash and not even two pennies to rub together. I think the Lord is doing a good job!!
Thank you Jesus,
I couldn't of done it with out you.

My misunderstanding. When you say "pimped out" i get visions of the picture that was floating around of the brothers and how they destroyed the raptor with the 26" spoked wheels etc.
Thats a sweet paint job for sure. However, it doesn't compare to Turbos raptor at all. It's not even in the same league, includeing the cool paint job. Sorry.

What people do with their money is their own buisness. As long as they have a roof over their heads and food on their table, what harm is there in it? His wife and kids have a great house and they appear to have had regular meals. ha ha
Things like this can really get out of hand, so just consider your words a little before commenting on something that a person is passionate about.
Words are hard to take back once their said...........

i dont mean to offend anyone but the 250r is what every qaud wants to look like in my opinion. it has a clean, simple, raced out look. its what a qaud is supposed to look like not like the raptor, predator, or ds which all look like some kind of bug on crack. the ex and z's look aggressive but still keep the 'qaud' look. im not sayin that the bikes that look like bugs are ugly im just sayin that they look like bugs...so how can a bug be better lookin than a qaud?
