Since this post is about my quad; and now the Lord I serve. I want to take a few turns here.
Pat, you say we are "pushing religion down your peoples throat and it shouldn't be in the forums."

Picture this:
I am walking down the street past your house and you and your two kids are screaming out your upstairs window.
I look over at the situation and see that your house is on fire, I have the water to put the fire out.The only way you an your two kids are going to be rescued is if I throw the water on the fire.
I have two choices:
First: I can just ignore the cries for help
Second: I can offer you the water to put the fire out.
What I, and the others are doing is offering you the "water" to rescue you from sin.

You said we were "pushing religion."
So it's ok to take prayer out of schools and pass out condoms.
It's ok to change laws to legalize killing babies and legalize same sex marriages.
Now you want to talk "pushing:"
I am not pushing or changing laws to push religion I am just offering the "living water."
Pushing is what is being done when you turn the tv or radio on and see all the perversion.

OK, To you that say "I believe in Jesus," or " I believe in God.
I have a word picture for you:
I have a fifty dollar bill in my hand.
I believe the 50.00 bill is green and black.
I believe it has a stamp of the Federal Reserve System on it.
I believe it say it is "legal tender."
I believe it has a serial number.
I believe it has a picture of Grant on it.
I believe on the back it says "In God we trust"

So what good is it to believe facts about this fifty dollar bill?
I still have it.
If I offer it to you as a free gift to pay your sins off what do you have to do to get it?
God offered us his Son as a free gift to pay for our sins. He is offered to anyone.
But you must do something to get it.

I haven't found that anyone here has tried to push their beliefs on anayone else. Turbo stated how he came upon putting together a $50,000 Raptor and a few questioned his way or belief in how it came to be. Then he defended himself.

 

Hey Quinn, is the verse John 3:16?

Something like, "For God so loved the world that He gave His only Son, that whoever shall believe in him shall not perish, but have everlasting life."

If I am correct, don't worry about the $. I'm not in it for the money. Just having you as a friend and a fellow forum member is enough. No matter what you say or do there will always be doubters and complainers. If you put $100,000 into your next project there will still be people saying what you "should have done" and missing the point of your work completely. I say good job and keep up the great work you are doing.

Now that I think about it I don't think that is the verse you are looking for. John 3:16. Wouldn't that be verse 16 of chapter 3? I just remembered that verse from my Sunday School days. It has always stuck with me. If no one gets the right answer I hope you will tell us.

You missed the mark on a few points.

1. We as Christians are here to spread the "Good News" That is the birth, death and Resurection of Jesus Christ. The son of God.

2. I don't push anything on anybody. Should you have a question, I will try to answer it. The non-believers are the pushy ones. Abortion, Condoms in High school, Evalution only in schools, Remove "In GOD we Trust" from everything.

3. I don't believe that I have the "GOOD LIFE/Worldly Life" your talking about.

4. You don't have to be an idiot to believe in GOD. If you believe Darwin that takes more Faith than to believe in GOD.


To the Non-believers;

The real questions for any non-believer is:

How come I don't believe in God?
What do I worship? Everyone worships something Money, drugs, sex, music whatever.
Why don't I study and learn about the Truth?
Why don't I just ask the questions I want to know?
Why am I Mad at God?

People are scared of change and they love SIN. Most people have no idea of what they believe or why. Take an Honest look in the mirror, look yourself in the eye and ask those questions. What will your answers be.

As far as the $50 dollar offer, If that is what it takes to get someone to honestly evaluate their belief and the reason for them, who cares. I used to believe that the Bible was stories wrote by learned men to offer humanity a way to live in harmony with each other. The TRUTH is the more I read the more convinced I was that it is the inspired word of God. No-one can find any faults, lies, misprint or other Un-Truths in it. Every person who has undertaken the HONEST study of the Bible has become a True believer.

Although I don't have $50K to put into a quad, I do have a Great life. I have True Friends, Peace of mind, Honesty, and loyaltyof self. I only hope that by planting a Seed of thought you will find your own answers. If you need help there is a best selling book out called the BIBLE. All the answers are there should you care enough to find out. If I'm right I will spend eternity with God and his son, if I'm wrong I've lived a good life. If your wrong you will be punished, and if your right you won't know. That's pretty Risky.

The day religion offers harmony for humanity, is well, the day. Up to this point in civilization, more wars have been fought over religion than anything else.

But I dont bag on people with religious beliefs.
