i have my doubts about some of your thoughts on those quads. first the predator is faster stock than a raptor. i know this because my cousin has a predator and he has outran the raptor on pavement. he also beat a raptor at the dunes w/ stock tires the raptor had paddles. the only quad that has beat him was a piped and jetted banshee.

 

The DS is THE dune 4 stroke!! period.

and none can deny the Banshees performance in the sand but that's a whole different story.

 

Once again, it is all about the rider and how good he is, the guy on the raptor must have sucked!!

Dude, when it comes to drag racing stock bikes there isn't much to screw up. Thumb the throttle and bang gears. He rides quite well actually, probably gets to ride more than me. We work together and he will tell you that as is, my DS is faster than his raptor. No big deal. Sorry to insult your manhood.

 

Oh hell that is fine, I know that I am not the fastest or will ever be the fastest, I know that the sky is the limit if you have the money!! I am not the type that is all Yamaha and everybody else sucks, the raptor is my first quad and I love it, I want to get a new and different quad within the next couple of months, so you are not insulting my manhood!!

DS wouldnt fit any trails around here regardless of how good it might be. I've never run a stock DS next to my Rappy but my 686 vs MarkyNarks DS he's got me, not by much but he got me at least in top speed. To be fair tho, I am running way lean and he's running rich. Piped Shee's I can eat up, built Shee's I'll never touch. Who cares about stock anyhow, nobody leaves a machine stock for long. Modded dollar for dollar the Shee is the one to beat. The V force does however have potential that V twin is just screaming to be awakened. Stock they arent much compared to a 686 raptor but I know there's power hiding in there.
