I was Wondering Whats the Best On Trails. Long Distance Short Whatever. Then I was Wondering whats the Fastest Top speed in Order and what Would Win in a Straight Up Drag Race. 1st to Last Place Then I was wondering whats the Best Dune Quad out of those Also. I hear so much about these Quads and I just wanted to know how you Guys Thought about them in these Types of Riding.

 

Raptor is fastest in straight up drag race along with the Banshee, DS650 best trailing quad, Banshee is the best dune machine but the others can be modified to beat it in the dunes. Places 1st to Last in Drag Race:
1- Raptor
2- Banshee
3- DS650
4- Predator
5- V-force

Dunes:
1- Banshee
2- Raptor
3- Predator
4- V-Force
5- DS650

Top Speed
1- Raptor
2- Banshee
3- DS650
4-Predator
5- V-force

Dont underestimate the DS in the Sand. If you get the Baja, it will be pretty good. The DS is faster than a Banshee ( unless its slower and 68 then its faster than a Shee..)

 

just do a search we have debating these quads many times

the shee is in its own class and once modified is the dune king.

the rappy and ds are pretty close the rappy is lighter and the ds has more hp both can be modified to rip.
ds is big and heavy and the rappy many people complain about it being a little tipy

the pred is new and not yet proven reliabililty wise but it is more high tuned and can keep up with a stock raptor

i'm not sure about the v-force but it sounds like its got lots of power but to big and heavy for my liking....

for trails the easiest would be a z400 probably but it does lack on power a bit compared to the bigger quads.

The ds650 is the fastest production quad made, Pick up the recent atv sport mag and they even have timed runs and the ds is the fastest. In the mag on the timed runs the closest was the Cannondale just behind it. The Raptor is not the fastest and the banshee was one of the slowest in the timed runs. Don't believe me?? Pick one up and read, no they wern't lying either they used a stalker radar system. Those dont lie.

 

I agree pretty much with the results, the reason the banshee was one of the slowest was they did the tests in the dirt. The banshee has massive problems with traction in dirt. I also agree the ds is probably the fastest production quad in stock form. Of course a few mods to a banshee and it really wakes up, and of course looses even more traction on dirt.

it said right in there that it was not favourable conditions for the shee and even if you put raptor tires on the shee it would improve the shee a lot as the stockers suck on the banshee.

 

My stock DS (all the way down to the Kenda tires and factory pipe) will out drag my buddies stock (yep, even the tires) 02 Raptor just about every time. He gets me 1 out of 5 I would guess.

The DS has the most H.P. out of the group the widest stance,and 12 inches of travel and you rated it LAST in the dunes!!! LMAO!!
