What would be the best cam to run for top end without going too big? Does the .430 deaden the acceleration dramatically?

That's a top end cam, it will rev higher and give more top speed, but you will loose a ton of bottom end, which will make your Wolverine a real dog. The best set up, unless all you do is fire roads at top gear, is a good low/mid cam that will bump up the acceleration and torque, and leave the top end alone. An auto clutch 4x4 needs the low grunt to get the tires going in the tough stuff, unless you put a huge big bore kit in to get the bottom end back.

THe big bore kit was my full intention. Thats why a top end cam was my preferency. I think with a big bore kit it would be easier to pull. THere is no way i would put that cam in with a 350. My type of riding is odd, this is why i want a good top end cam. I can afford to lose some on the bottom. Thanks for your help.
