If i go and get on it and kick it to start up it wont start unless I use the choke and kick it a few times. If I ride for about 20 minutes and shut off and let sit for minute or so it will start 1st kick, but if it sits for hour or so have to use choke again. Is this normal?

Also my plugs are a dark brown color. Is this normal or should they be a light brown? Thanks
