Default 2003 R1 Engine in Raptor

I just bought a R1 engine off of my friend that wrecked his bullet bike for $2000 and the engine is in great shape... I was thinking about putting it into my raptor, damn that would be a fast a$$ quad!! I just finished paying off my 2003 Raptor and was thinking of getting another one to modify it and put the engine in, what do all of you think? Should I do it, money is not a problem so I have enough to cover everything I need... Screw what everyone thinks I am going to do it!! I should be getting my new raptor within a week then the fun part will begin... I will keep everyone updated!! And if you know of some stuff that I will definitely need for this kind of setup feel free to post as much as you know!!

It is liquid cooled, I choose to put it in a raptor because I love the raptor and it will scream but what is so different with the raptor frame and the zilla frame?

The only thing I know is you'll have to mill down the front sprocket to fit a 520 chain. If you do it pay ALOT of attention to your weight distribution, get the motor to far forward and it won't hook worth a hoey.

you can pick up an R1 engine off Ebay for around 1100 to 1400 bucks, ready to run, all wiring, pump, airbox, etc. FYI

WHat year is it? be sweet if it was the newer FI version

It is a 2003 R1 FI version and the weight is approximately 46.8 lbs, this is going to take some patience and a lot of time but will pay off at FSW's hah hah hah hah...
