exhaust help???

Default exhaust help???

hi,
ive decided to get a big gun slip-on race series for my 01' warrior,but cant find a website.does anyone know of a web site? i went to moto-joe and it said it had a silencer ,and i didnt know if it meant it was a qiuet series or if it came with a silencer you could put in it.

The silencer is the "muffler" part of the exhaust. Just because its called a silencer doesn't exactly mean its quiet. It muffles the sound from the pipe, which without the silencer, would probably cause static on every TV set in your neighborhood. You wanted the race silencer right? There's a site called rageperformance.com that sells them or the whole system. I never dealt with them so I can't tell you anything about them.
Wow! Talk about pricey though, I hope it's worth it.

so if it says silencer on the race series, then it is still loud(like i want it)?

It's an oxymoron, "silencer" is a generic term for the cylinder that holds the all of the essential components...packing, spark arrestor, discs if applicable etc...

Also, buy an ATV mag or two and look for a "Big Gun" vendor, you may find a better deal.

thanks for ya'lls input,it was very useful ,i found one at moto-joe for $310 that is a slip on race series with a k&n air filter and a splitifire plug.

Good luck with the Big Gun, please let us know how that works out for you.

Maybe it's an urban legend, but I have heard those split-fires can burn a hole in your piston, so be careful.

Looks like rockymountain carries the complete systems only and warriorracer350 needs just the race slip-on, no headpipe.

the best thing before sliced bread was an oven anyway i had the white bros r4 pipe i really liked it alot
