Default Cutting out...

Ok, I think this may have something to do with the needle clip, but heres the deal., I adjusted the air/fuel screw awhile back,.. which stopped the exhaust popping, but now, i have power loss, for instance, i will pull a wheelie in first and try to ride it, i get goin good, then, phluuuubbbbbrrrurrbbb... or something to that effect .. anyways, it cuts out in when I wheelie, like its starving for fuel... Any suggestions .... And if it is the needle clip, what has to be done to that to get more fuel?? Thanks.....

It sounds like you need to adjust your floats. If you don't know how to do this...turn the carbs upside down, take the bowl off...make the mating surface of the bowl level and look at your floats. They should be level with the bowl..if they aren't, bend the tang until the are both perfectly level. This should solve your problem(if it is the floats). If you need to adjust your needle clip, moving the clip up will be leaner, and moving the clip down will be richer.

Ok, i believe i have a dynojet stage 2 kit, well, thats what the previous owner told me, ok, now i have the carbs apart lookin for the needle clip, and i see nothing, is this because it is after market? Also, i pulled the bowl off, and one of the jets says 146 on it, im asuming that is the size, correct?and possibly why it isnt running quite like it should with all my mods? any thoughts?
