Default Quad for a 4 year old!!

Sorry about your loss no parents and then your brother. You have part of your brother in his son. Have you thought about a mini bike? They are lighter and IMO, less chance of getting hurt when he takes a spill. I started riding when I was 5. I would definately get a 4-stroke.....kids ride from daylight until dark if possible....thats a lot of mixing oil and gas. Get him some protective gear and a helmet as well....start him out the right way.

The lt80's are oil injected and they do real good on gas and even better on oil.

It was called an Indian 50....had a 5hp briggs and stratton engine on it....I don't remember it having suspension. My first big crash is when I built a ramp and jumped a ditch beside the house. Cleared the ditch and wadded on the other side. Had a bunch of bikes afterwards....YZ60..RM80...RM125...had and old Elsinore 250 too.

I am going to take him to Plaza Cycle in Salt Lake City and let him sit on a couple of quads including the raptor 80, predator 90, and is there a Kawasaki that is small enough for him or what?

Buy him a dirt sickle instead. I love quads, but my buddy bought his 7 yr old an LT 50 and when I watch him go through the trails just bumping all over the place makes me a nervous wreck! NO suspension on those little quads. He flipped over to the side on a 3 inch tree root. At least with a dirt sickle, KTM's make several models, and training wheels, he can get away from the machine if there is a wreck. Watching a little crumpet going around a corner, leg sticking out, dirt cloud behind him....doesn't get much better than that!

The lt80's have suspension and its actually pretty decent for a little feller. I dont think there is a small kawazuki. And chubby your a big man for steppen up and takin that kid under your wing.
