Well I blew the Fuse one day and we put another one in it and it blew an so we put a 20 a in it an it didn't blow ...

 

DON'T PUT BIGGER FUSES IN!!! you'll smoke the wiring........ use only what's supposed to be in there.

 

thatmight of done ti that bigger fuse might of fired something !!! mayb a pesky problem cuase one big one!!

 

alrighty well i think we put another 15a back in alittle bita go... so hopefully the wires not going to be fried agin

 

I had the exact same problem with my Raptor this spring. I charged the battery, didn't work. I replaced the fuses, kept popping. I replaced the starter relay, didn't work. I finally found out it was a fried ignition box. I put in a new ignition box and it fired right up on the first turn of the crank.

See if you can find a buddy with a similar quad and swap his ignition into yours. Also check the kill switch wiring to make sure it is wired according to factory specs. It was my aftermarket kill switch that was frying my ignition box. Good Luck! Keep us updated.

Just wondering if anyone knows why Yamaha did away with the pullstart on Warriors. My 87 has one, and its nice to have a backup for situations like this.

 

probly cuz they are almost bullet proof and just to rip you off more.. u can buy them now but its like 100 bucks but i might buy one to be safe and incase i start to race and want rid of battery

 

so it my be my igniton box... well we was worken on it today..and have it a good push start and was running and one of the little black boxes where getting warm and so was the green pug beside the Celenode... but i think i fried something anyways cause last sunday the wires where i had that 20a fuse, cause wires melted together and started smoken when the key was on........so i may of fried the ignition box..

 

yeah must be nice to have a pull start cause my brother an i were wore the hell out last sunday cause every time we stop we had to push start it... wish it had a kick start or pull start would be lovley

 

sucks you had to push start it every time. Maybe after you get this problem fixed you should invest in one, thats if they're not super expensive. Mine starts on the first pull.
