I have a 250R with everything chrome or powder coated. You can chrome or powder coat the hubs, spindles, column, motor mounts, handle bar clamps, brake pedal, foot pegs, etc. Anything that is metal. There are some materials chrome will not stick to though. My factory aluminum swing arm on a 250R is an alloy and couldn't not get the chrome to stick.

Just make sure when the powder coat they cover up the wholes first. Especially things like where the bearings go in the front hubs. I made that mistake and spend longer cleaning the wholes than putting the bike back together from the frame up.

Ya, ill tell them to cover up the holes. I know a guy who works there so im going to get the hole frame done, pluss swing arm or whatever i want thats on the bike powder coated for 100$. I'm thinking about going with the gold powder coat color, right now i have stock blue plastics but i want the red fullbore, and gold will look bada$$ with them IMO

What shop are you using? Is that a special rate for you or is that a rate anyone locally can get?

I'm using a shop thats local to me, but i know a guy there, normally it would be like 150-200 for just the frame. But i'm getting hooked up. 150-200 for the frame still is a pritty good price.
